Commitment to Content

I admit it. I don’t post to Balancing Act enough. Truth be told, it can be difficult to find the time to find something interesting or otherwise blog- worthy to write about and then commit it to writing. After all, I want to make sure that our readers find something of value in each post.

...

Needless to say, while a blog is a great way to reach our clients and followers, keeping a blog current requires commitment.

Believe me, I know I should post more regularly but it can be all too easy to put off for a later day. It’s not like I don’t enjoy writing either, because I do. Nonetheless, it still takes a backseat to clients, family, and if I am honest, sitting on my duff.

Thing is, these are all just excuses and I know it. And if my experience with our own clients is anything to go by, this is a common problem.

As a reminder of what is possible, Chris Markell had challenged herself to create 31 blog posts in 31 days. In her tale, Chris reminds us why it is important for us business owners to blog and blog often. Chris is a marketing genius and owner of Radiance Marketing. Please read her story here at http://radiancemarketing.com/blog/what-i-learned-from-blog-challenge/ It is certainly worth the read and you might be inspired to take action and post to your own blog. I know I will be posting more often. So watch this space for more helpful tips, insights and thoughts from yours truly.
