How do you balance the need to develop new business and manage the day to day operations?

A while back, we received the following question?

How do you meet your demanding administrative needs, and still focus on developing new business and meeting client needs?

For example: Billing, marketing, scheduling, event planning, travel, etc.

ANSWER:

Many of our clients our in the same position as you are. The idea of running a business is more than simply being expert in your craft. There are so many other tasks that are required to run a business.

...

This is the mistake that many first time business owners make. Thinking that they will be able to do everything in house or by themselves.

We partner with our clients to make sure that we first and foremost understand what they are trying to accomplish. Once we determine what the client’s needs are we work with them to provide the administrative and financial management services so the owners or principals can focus on what they do best.

In some cases that is something as simple as providing quarterly analysis and guidance. For other clients we are serving as an outsourced Chief Financial Officer. In any event we make sure that our services our helping the client meet their end goals.

If I can be of any assistance in helping you get set up or if you just want to bounce some ideas around, please do not hesitate to contact me at (203) 404-3974.

Wishing you much success,

Jason
