Balancing Act

Just about once a week, I visit one of our clients, Lynn Ciecierski of Wink Art & Design. Wink Art & Design is, as you might imagine, a design studio that specializes in providing full-service graphic design including logos, brochures, advertisements, e-commerce and websites.

What makes these visits noteworthy is that Lynn’s studio, located in Branford, Connecticut is not just a studio but it also is a charming gallery that features fine art, cards, and art prints.

Much of the artwork found in the gallery, including the work located at the top of this story, is by artist Brendan Loughlin.

Loughlin has developed a method of painting that creates fresco-like works of art called Pastac. The Pastac method combines chalk pastels, commercial painter’s tints, and BIN shellac.

Along with the fantastic artwork, you can actually learn to create your own masterpieces using the instructional DVD that is available for purchase at the gallery.
